Johnson&Johnson – JLABS Korea가 주관하는 QuickFire Challenge는 국내 혁신 신약 및 첨단 의료기술을 개발하는 유망 스타트업 회사들을 대상으로 한 연례 open challenge입니다. 본 프로그램은 JLABS의 글로벌 네트워크와 자원을 활용해 초기 단계의 바이오 및 의료기기 기업의 경쟁력을 강화하고, 국가의 혁신 생태계의 성장을 촉진시켜 전 세계 건강 증진에 기여하는 것을 목표로 두고 있습니다. 올해는 분야는 Neuroscience로, 신경퇴행성 및 신경정신과적 질환으로 고통받는 환자들의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 혁신적 치료법 및 솔루션을 모집합니다.

1. 모집 대상 및 일정

•        모집 대상:

²  뇌와 눈의 퇴행성 질환과 신경 정신계 질환의 난치성 타겟을 겨냥한 솔루션

(알츠하이머병, 파킨슨병, 지도모양위축, 조현병, 주요 우울 장애 및 양극성 장애)

²  핵심분야: 소분자, 펩타이드, RNA 표적 분자, 분자접착제, 분해제 등으로 구성된 새로운 화학적 물질(NCE)의 설계

•      모집 기간: ~8월 8일 (금)

•      결과 발표: 10월 말~ 11월 초 (예정)

Johnson & Johnson is proud to announce the launch of Korea Innovation QuickFire Challenge: Targeting Neuroscience. This open challenge is designed for promising startups developing innovative therapeutics and cutting-edge medical technology. Innovators from Korea or across the globe, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging the Korea’s health ecosystem, are invited to submit their transformative potential solutions. This year’s focus is Neuroscience, and we are seeking transformative therapies and solutions to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders.

1. Criteria and Timeline

•      Eligibility Criteria:

²  Transformative potential solutions that aim to address challenging, hard-to-drug targets relevant to neurodegeneration of the brain and eye and/or neuropsychiatry. (Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, geographic atrophy, schizophrenia, major depressive disorder and/or bipolar disorder.)

²  Specific areas of interest include the design of novel chemical entities representing small molecules, peptides, RNA-targeting molecules, molecular glues, or degraders.

•      Application Period: ~8/8 (Friday)

•      Announcement: Late October/Early November
