한국 제약 개발자들을 위한 공개 초청: 온코드 액셀러레이터와 함께 종양학 자산 공동 개발

온코드 액셀러레이터(Oncode Accelerator)는 네덜란드 국가성장기금(NGF)의 일부 지원을 받는 공공-민간 파트너십으로, 암 환자를 전임상 치료 개발의 중심에 두고 새로운 암 치료제의 혁신과 개발 가속화를 목표로 하고 있습니다.

온코드 액셀러레이터는 네덜란드의 6개 주요 암 연구 기관이 주도하는 비영리 연구 프로그램으로, 해당 기관에는 라이덴 대학교, 라이덴 대학교 의료센터, 네덜란드 암 연구소, 프린세스 막시마 센터, 위트레흐트 대학교 의료센터, 온코드 액셀러레이터 재단이 포함됩니다.

저희는 확대되고 있는 파트너 네트워크와 함께, 명확히 정의된 환자 집단, 오가노이드 모델, 인공지능 플랫폼의 혁신적 결합을 통해 전임상 신약 발견 및 치료제 개발을 가속화하고 위험을 최소화할 수 있다고 믿습니다.

저희 전임상 개발 인프라를 최적화하기 위해, 네 가지 주요 암 치료제 개발 분야를 대표하는 전임상 개발 파이프라인(워크스트림)을 운영하고 있습니다:

워크스트림과 플랫폼의 교차점에서 이루어지는 연구는 시너지 효과를 창출하여, 개별 환자 또는 환자 하위 집단에 맞춤화된 더욱 향상된 치료제를 도출합니다.

위험이 경감된 임상 후보물질의 신속한 개발과 저희 혁신적 접근법의 검증을 위해, 전 세계의 학계, 바이오 제약 기업, 스타트업을 초청하여 저희 네 가지 워크스트림의 다양한 전임상 개발 단계에 적합한 프로젝트를 제안해 주시기를 요청드립니다. 이러한 이른바 데몬스트레이터 프로젝트(Demonstrator Projects)를 통해, 새로운 파트너가 저희와 협력할 수 있으며 최대 150만 유로의 프로젝트 공동 자금을 지원받아 귀하의 종양학 자산을 위험이 최소화된 임상 후보물질로 발전시킬 수 있습니다.

Open Call to Korean Drug Developers to Co-develop Oncology Assets Together with Oncode Accelerator

Oncode Accelerator is a public-private partnership that is partially funded by the Dutch National Growth Fund (NGF), aiming to innovate and accelerate the development of new cancer therapies by placing cancer patients at the core of preclinical therapy development. 

Oncode Accelerator is a not-for-profit research program, coordinated by six leading cancer institutes from the Netherlands: Leiden University, Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Princess Máxima Center, University Medical Center Utrecht and the Oncode Accelerator Foundation. 

Together with our growing partner base, we believe preclinical drug discovery and therapy development can be accelerated and de-risked using an innovative combination of well-defined patient cohorts, organoid models, and artificial intelligence platforms. 

To make optimal use of our preclinical development infrastructure, we utilize four preclinical development pipelines, so called workstreams, representing the development of four prominent types of cancer therapies:

·               Cell and Gene Therapy

The intersection of the work done by our workstreams and platforms creates a synergistic effect resulting in better therapies that are tailored to individual patients or patient subgroups.

To fast-track development of de-risked clinical candidates and to validate our innovative approach, we invite academics, biopharma, and start-ups from all over the world to propose projects for different stages of the preclinical development pipelines of our four workstreams. Through these so-called Demonstrator Projects, we welcome new partners to work with us and receive up to 1.5 million Euro in project co-funding to turn your oncology assets into de-risked clinical candidates.
